At 13:00 on January 22, 2024, PPM INSTITUTE OF FUNCTIONAL MATERIALS (hereinafter referred to as the Research Institute) held the 2023 annual work summary meeting of the Institute in the 805 staircase room of the company's new building. Poly Plastic Masterbatch (Suzhou) Co., Ltd Chairman and Senior Engineer Xu Yiming, General Manager Jiang Zhiyong, Financial Director Yuan Xiaofeng, Director of the Board Office Hu E and other senior company leaders attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Yang Junhui, Executive Vice President and Chief Engineer of PPM INSTITUTE. PPM INSTITUTE President Ji Shunjun made a work report of the Institute in 2023. President Ji summarized the work in 2023 with 20 words "enhance positioning, combine management, strengthen performance, specialize in innovation, and make precise efforts". And once again made further mobilization for the decisive year of 2024 for the Institute. President Ji pointed out: To achieve the goal of 2024, the decisive year for the Institute, we must have a sense of self-confidence, self-reliance, unity, and progress, and we must do things that others cannot see, things that others cannot think of, and things that others cannot do.

Finally, Chairman Xu made an important speech. Chairman Xu affirmed the achievements made by the Institute in 2023, and also objectively pointed out the problems and shortcomings in the work of the Institute in 2023. In 2024, the decisive year, Chairman Xu put forward four requirements for the Institute: First, we must stick to the goal and not relax. All the staff of the Institute must enhance their sense of responsibility and urgency, stick to the sales target tasks, overcome difficulties, and make every effort; second, we must force the responsibility to bear the burden. Each research center and research group must refine the division of responsibilities, focus on the work priorities, strengthen coordination and cooperation, and form a work chain with specific responsibilities, tasks assigned to people, and interlocking; third, we must push forward and speed up, improve the various working mechanisms of project research, implement full-process tracking services and supervision and management for project planning, project establishment, implementation, conclusion, acceptance and other links, and sort out, analyze and overcome the reasons for the delay in progress one by one; fourth, we must take the initiative to plan and strengthen responsibility, and we must base ourselves on the existing resources and industrial advantages of the enterprise, strengthen industry-university-research cooperation, and expand new ideas for research and development. Chairman Xu finally emphasized: It is necessary to break down departmental barriers, eliminate information islands, and closely combine product technological innovation, production process optimization and innovation, and market research guidance to create the driving force for the company's continuous development.
