Zou Guifu is a second-level professor and doctoral supervisor at Soochow University. He is a recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, the director of the National Photovoltaic Engineering Technology Research Center, the young chief scientist of the National Key Basic Research and Development Program, the National Outstanding Youth Fund and the Jiangsu Province Distinguished Professor, and the recipient of the Jiangsu Province Outstanding Youth Fund. He is currently engaged in the research and development of new inorganic nano-thin film material growth and its efficient energy conversion, and ultra-thin optoelectronic film. He has presided over national and provincial and ministerial scientific research projects with a total funding of more than 20 million yuan. He has published more than 190 research papers in international journals and obtained more than 50 patents, many of which have been industrialized. Due to his outstanding contributions to the research and industrialization of functional thin film materials, he was named one of the top ten outstanding young people in Suzhou and was interviewed by CCTV as a representative of Suzhou Science and Technology in the series of activities for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party.
