The Institute held an academic report on metal-polymer composite electronic materials

On the morning of December 2, 2022, PPM INSTITUTE OF FUNCTIONAL MATERIALS invited Professor Zhang Jiuyang① of Southeast University to hold an online academic report on metal-polymer composite electronic materials for all researchers in the 805 conference room of the company's office building. Chairman Xu Yiming, Dean Ji Shunjun, and Vice Dean Yang Junhui attended the lecture.

The lecture officially started at 10:00 am. Professor Zhang Jiuyang first explained the progress of the relevant metal-polymer composite electronic materials currently being studied by the research group, and talked about the historical progress and future development trends of polymer composite electronic materials; focusing on explaining to us that the project they have completed is to achieve the industrialization of anisotropic electronic material packaging, breaking the foreign blockade of technology in this field. Vice Dean Yang Junhui asked questions about related issues in conjunction with the company's products, and Professor Zhang explained the recent related research and development of Tsinghua University.

Through Professor Zhang Jiuyang's explanation, not only did the researchers of our institute popularize the knowledge of metal-polymer composite electronic materials, but also generated a lot of inspiration for the exploration of our existing research projects.

①Dr. Zhang Jiuyang, a young top talent in the 10,000-person plan of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Southeast University. Dr. Zhang Jiuyang graduated from Nanjing University in 2010 and received his Ph.D. in Science from the University of South Carolina in 2014. He then worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. From September 2016 to date, he has been a professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Southeast University. In recent years, Professor Zhang Jiuyang has conducted a series of research on metal-polymer composite materials around the basic theories of polymer materials and metal materials, and published 52 international high-level papers including PNAS, JACS, Matter, Adv. Mater. He has presided over three National Natural Science Foundation projects and has rich experience in industrialization. )
