Researcher and doctoral supervisor at Donghua University, director of the Key Laboratory of High-Performance Fibers and Products of the Ministry of Education. Fellow of the China Textile Engineering Society, director of the Fiber Materials Subcommittee of the Textile Education Committee of the Ministry of Education. Chief expert of the chemical fiber industry chain of Jiangsu Province, chief expert of decision-making consultation of the China Association for Science and Technology, deputy director of the National Chemical Fiber Standardization Committee, and director of the first academic expert committee of PPM Functional Materials Research Institute. Focusing on the research of fiber material modification and forming, he presided over major projects such as the National Science and Technology Support Plan and the National Key R&D Plan, and won 5 second prizes for national scientific and technological progress and 16 first prizes at the provincial and ministerial levels. Won the Shanghai May 1st Labor Medal, the National Outstanding Science and Technology Worker, the National Innovation Award, and the Science and Technology Innovation Award of the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation. As the main technical person in charge, he participated in the research and formulation of the "12th Five-Year Plan, 13th Five-Year Plan, and 14th Five-Year Plan for China's Chemical Fiber Industry"; was responsible for compiling the fiber volume of the Encyclopedia of China; created a research and release platform for the popular trends of chemical fibers in China; and created a national advanced functional fiber manufacturing innovation center.
