On the afternoon of August 31, 2023, PPM INSTITUTE OF FUNCTIONAL MATERIALS invited Professor Chu Zonglin of Hunan University to hold an academic report on the application of super-wetting materials of organosilicon nanowires in the separation of complex oil-water systems for all researchers in the 805 conference room of the company's office building. Dean Ji Shunjun and Vice Dean Yang Junhui attended the lecture.

The lecture officially started at 14:30 in the afternoon. Professor Chu Zonglin first explained the background and significance of the report research. Super-wetting materials used for oil-water separation materials have the advantages of fast rate, high efficiency and low energy consumption compared with base materials. Secondly, Professor Chu explained the six main tasks they did during the research process, allowing us to have a deeper understanding of the working principle and preparation method of super-wetting materials in complex oil-water systems. In the final discussion session, the researchers actively asked questions, and the atmosphere on the scene was warm and active.

Through Professor Chu Zonglin's explanation, not only did our researchers show their latest research results, but also generated more inspiration and ideas for our future research projects.
