On the afternoon of November 17, 2023, PPM INSTITUTE OF FUNCTIONAL MATERIALS held a postdoctoral mid-term and thesis report meeting in the 811 lecture hall of the company's new building. The meeting was chaired by Professor Ji Shunjun, Dean of PPM INSTITUTE and doctoral supervisor.

In the two years since the establishment of the postdoctoral workstation at Poly Plastic Masterbatch (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., it has been upgraded from a provincial postdoctoral innovation and practice base to a national corporate postdoctoral research workstation. Currently, the postdoctoral researchers at the workstation are from Southeast University, a 985 university, Donghua University, a 211 university, and Soochow University, with a total of 4 full-time and part-time cooperative researchers.

Wang Huaping, researcher at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Donghua University, doctoral supervisor, director of the Key Laboratory of High-Performance Fibers and Products of the Ministry of Education (B), general manager of the National Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center, deputy director of the Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education for Industrial Textiles, and deputy director of the Chemical Fiber Professional Committee of the China Textile Engineering Society, served as the leader of the assessment team. Mr. Jiang Zhiyong, general manager of the company, Cui Ying, deputy director of the District Bureau of Doctoral Management and the District Bureau of Science and Technology Talents, and other leaders came to the site for assessment and guidance.
